Evolve

Post-launch support, performance monitoring, and iteration based on real user data. Launch is not the finish line — it's where the real work begins.

After Launch

Most agencies disappear after handover. We don't. Shipping a product is the beginning of a conversation with your users — and the insights you get from real usage are worth more than any assumptions made during design.

The Evolve phase is how we make sure your product improves over time rather than degrading. It covers everything from keeping the lights on to actively building on what's working and fixing what isn't.

What Evolve Covers

Production Monitoring
Alerting, error tracking, and uptime monitoring so problems are caught before users report them. We watch the dashboards so you don't have to.
Bug Fixes & Patches
Issues that emerge in production get fixed promptly. Critical bugs are triaged and addressed within hours, not weeks.
Performance Optimisation
As real usage patterns emerge, we tune the product — database queries, caching, API response times, and frontend load performance.
Feature Iteration
Building on what's working, cutting what isn't, and shipping improvements based on actual user behaviour — not assumptions.
Analytics & Reporting
Instrumentation and dashboards that tell you how people are using the product, where they drop off, and which features drive the most value.
Security & Dependency Updates
Keeping dependencies current, patching vulnerabilities, and ensuring your product stays secure as the threat landscape changes.

How We Structure Ongoing Support

Evolve engagements typically run as monthly retainers, giving you a predictable allocation of engineering time without the overhead of scoping individual change requests each time.

Tier 1
Maintenance
Bug fixes, security patches, and dependency updates. Keep the product stable and secure.
Tier 2
Support + Iteration
Maintenance plus a monthly allocation for feature improvements and optimisation work.
Tier 3
Embedded Team
An ongoing engineering partner who treats your product as their own. Sprint-based, continuous delivery.

Clean Handovers

If you want to take the product in-house after the initial engagement, we'll make that as easy as possible. Everything we build is documented, tested, and structured so another team can pick it up without six months of archaeology.

When to Evolve vs When to Re-Discover

Sometimes post-launch data reveals something fundamental: the product needs to go in a different direction, a new market has emerged, or user feedback points to a problem that can't be fixed with iteration alone. When that happens, we re-engage the Discovery phase — not to start over, but to reframe the problem with real data informing the brief.
